Privacy policy
Protecting your personal data matters to me. Below you will find what data is processed when you visit this website or send an enquiry — and what rights you have.
Controller
Responsible for the processing of personal data in connection with this website:
Marlon Tramèr, Photography, Switzerland
Email: mail@tramer-photo.ch · Phone: +41 75 413 66 06
Legal basis
The processing of personal data is governed by the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP). Where visitors from the European Economic Area are concerned, the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply in addition.
Data processed when you visit this website
When the website is called up, the hosting provider automatically records technical data in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the volume of data transferred, the browser and operating system used, and the page previously visited.
This data serves solely to keep the website running securely and reliably and to prevent misuse. It is not combined with other data sources. The retention period follows the hosting provider's settings and is usually a few weeks. Hosting provider: Infomaniak, Geneva (Switzerland).
Getting in touch
If you write to me by email or call me, I process the details you provide — your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry — solely in order to answer it and, where applicable, to carry out an assignment.
This data is not passed on to third parties unless it is necessary in order to fulfil the assignment (for example to a lab or print partner) or a legal obligation requires it. Business correspondence is retained for ten years in accordance with statutory retention periods.
Image rights and photographs of people
Photographs in which you are recognisable are personal data. Images from assignments are used only for the purpose agreed. Publication on this website, in portfolios or on social networks takes place solely with your express consent, which you may withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
Raw files and edited image files are stored in encrypted form, archived for a limited period after an assignment is completed, and then deleted, unless something else has been agreed.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies and uses no tools to measure reach or usage. No profiling takes place.
Third-party services
All fonts and images are delivered from this site's own server. No content is loaded from external providers, in particular no fonts from Google Fonts; your IP address is therefore not passed to any third party.
Data security
The website is delivered over an encrypted TLS connection (https). I take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse. Complete protection during transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed technically.
Your rights
Within the scope of the applicable law you have, in particular, the following rights:
- Information about whether and which data concerning you is processed
- Correction of inaccurate data and deletion of data no longer needed
- Withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future
- Objection to certain processing, and release or transfer of your data
An informal message to mail@tramer-photo.ch is enough to exercise them. You may also contact the competent supervisory authority — in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Changes
This privacy policy may be amended if the website, the services used or the legal situation change. The version published here is the one that applies.
